Mr. Gavriel Meron has served NiTi™ Surgical solutions as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors since September 2011.

In 2006, Mr. Meron founded M.G.D. Management Services & Investments Ltd., a privately owned strategic consulting and investment company.

In 1998, he founded Given Imaging, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GIVN), which developed and brought the PillCam® to market.  Mr. Meron served as President and CEO until 2006 when he retired from the Company.

Prior to that, Mr. Meron held senior management positions in a number of companies. 
Past positions include: Chief Executive Officer of APPLItec Ltd., a manufacturer of video cameras for the medical endoscopy market; General Manager of Optibase Ltd. (Nasdaq: OBAS), a leading provider of PC-based video streaming, encoding, and decoding; and
Chief Financial Officer of InterPharm Laboratories Ltd., (Nasdaq: IPLLF) the largest biotech company in Israel at the time.

Mr. Meron served as Vice President Finance and Administration of Numax Electronics Inc., in Hauppauge, NY and prior to that, as
Head of Corporate Budgets for the Tadiran Group.

Mr. Meron served as an economist managing budgets in the IDF, retiring at the rank of Major.

Brought up in London, England, and immigrating to Israel in 1970, Mr. Meron holds an M.B.A. from the Recanati School of Business,
Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in economics and statistics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
